Mackie reintroduce tartan berets as part of their latest collection, offering a modern interpretation of a deeply rooted Scottish form. Inspired by the Tam O’ Shanter bonnet, as referenced in Robert Burns’ 1790 poem, these pieces draw on tradition while remaining contemporary for 2026.

Company Director, Graeme Haddow has acquired Robert Mackie of Scotland from the Mackie family. The acquisition of the Stewarton mill marks a significant milestone, preserving the company’s established manufacturing approach while providing a stable foundation for its future.
