Spotlight: ERIBÉ x Robert Mackie

This summer, we were delighted to welcome the team from ERIBÉ to our mill in Stewarton, Ayrshire, for a behind-the-scenes look at the craftsmanship behind the accessories we proudly manufacture for their collections.

Based in Hawick in the Scottish Borders, ERIBÉ is renowned for its beautifully crafted knitwear and distinctive use of colour. At Robert Mackie, we work closely with the ERIBÉ team to produce a range of accessories—including berets, beanies, scarves, gloves and mittens—created to complement their seasonal knitwear collections.

During their visit, the team experienced every stage of our manufacturing process, following the journey from colourful yarns through to beautifully finished accessories. Seeing the factory in full production offered an insight into the skill, precision and care that goes into every piece we make.

From Fairisle scarves emerging fresh from our knitting machines to glove components being cut, linked and expertly finished by our experienced knitters, each stage demonstrated the craftsmanship that has been passed through Robert Mackie’s mill for generations. It was a pleasure to show the ERIBÉ team their own accessories taking shape on the factory floor and to share the expertise behind every stitch.
