Design & Development
From the first idea, our experienced knitwear designers work with you to develop the look, feel and functionality of your product. Our technical team and programmers then translate the design into production-ready specifications, working closely with our skilled knitters and finishers on the factory floor.
Because every stage takes place within the same mill, communication is direct and feedback is continuous. Our teams work together throughout the process, allowing ideas to be refined, issues to be resolved quickly and quality to be closely controlled at every touchpoint.
From concept and sampling through to knitting, finishing and final assembly, you have one experienced team and one point of production behind your product — ensuring consistency, attention to detail and complete oversight from start to finish.
Yarns & Processes
We work exclusively with natural yarns, sourcing responsibly from leading spinners and using only the finest raw materials. Our core yarn is 2/17s 100% Lambswool, supplied by Z. Hinchliffe, with the full 120-colour shade range available.
We also work with premium spinners including Knoll, Lanecardate, Todd & Duncan, Cariaggi, Papi Fabio, Schoeller, Sesia, Shepley and Zegna Baruffa, offering yarns including Merino, Geelong, Donegal, Shetland, Cashmere and Cashmere blends.
From design and machine knitting to wet finishing, brushing and textile assembly, everything is completed in-house — making our products 100% made in Scotland.

Sustainability is at the heart of our approach. We use only natural, renewable yarns and continually invest in our manufacturing processes to reduce waste and minimise our environmental impact, with the goal of achieving zero waste in production.
We are proud to be a Woolmark licensee and an affiliate of the UK Fashion & Textile Association and Textiles Scotland. We are also SEDEX members with a SMETA audit, comply with the Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code and are proud to be a Living Wage Employer.
